About the fair
ARTBO, a program of Bogotá Chamber of Commerce, has organized ARTBO | International Art Fair of Bogotá since 2004 and has established itself as a space for cultural exchange and research, fundamental for the promotion of Colombia’s art scene. During four days, the fair brings together national and international galleries, curators, artists, works in different formats and media, providing the public with one of the country’s most important cultural showcases in the visual arts and the focal point of Bogotá’s arts events in October.
As Colombia’s largest art show, ARTBO carefully selects galleries of the highest standard, as well as presenting an experimental program of non-commercial sections. Its focus on quality and diversity makes it one of Latin America’s most refreshing fairs that’s willing to take risks. The result is one of the must-see events in the art world circuit.
ARTBO | International Art Fair of Bogotá has an international guest program that includes entrance to the fair’s pre-opening and opening events, along with a program to experience Colombian art through activities, such as visits to private collections, museums, institutions and special events. Those invited to this program include national and international collectors, curators, directors of museums and cultural institutions, journalists specialized in art and culture, in addition to international fair directors and contemporary art professionals.
The 13th edition of the fair takes place in the Gran Salón of Corferias from October 26 to 29.
